💡 You can install the eSIM before departure: the plan activates once you are in the destination country.

• Option A: Automatic installation (when a link to add eSIM is offered).
• Option B: Manual installation via QR code (works on all compatible iPhones).

💡 The automatic option is the fastest and minimizes errors. The QR code option is ideal if automatic is not available.

• Open the VoyageSIM email and tap the provided installation button or link.
• Follow the instructions displayed on your iPhone to add the eSIM plan.

💡 Make sure you are using an up-to-date iPhone (iOS 12.1 or later).

⚠ A stable Wi-Fi connection is required to download the eSIM profile.

• Open Settings → Cellular Data (or Cellular Network) .
• Choose “Add an eSIM plan” or “Add a cellular plan” .
• Scan the VoyageSIM QR code with your iPhone camera.
• Follow the on-screen instructions until the installation is complete.

💡 Place the QR code in the center of the image and ensure good lighting.

ℹ️ If the scan does not work, you can manually enter the activation code provided in your VoyageSIM email.

• Go to Settings → Cellular Data .
• Select the newly added VoyageSIM eSIM line.
• Change its name, for example: “VoyageSIM – Europe” or “VoyageSIM – USA” .

💡 A clear name makes it easier to choose the right line on your next trips.

• In Settings → Cellular Data , tap your primary SIM card.
• Disable the “Enable this line” option.

⚠ This step significantly reduces the risk of unexpected roaming charges on your usual plan.

💡 Upon returning, simply reactivate this option to get back to your main line.

• In Settings → Cellular Data , select the VoyageSIM eSIM.
• Make sure that “Activate this line” is enabled.
• Choose VoyageSIM as your default cellular data plan .

ℹ️ The initial connection may take a few seconds. The network icon should then appear at the top of the screen.

• Reopen the VoyageSIM eSIM in Settings → Cellular Data .
• Activate the “Data abroad” option.

⚠ Without this option, your eSIM will not be able to connect to the network of the country visited, even if it is correctly installed.

ℹ️ Unlike a traditional plan, roaming on your VoyageSIM eSIM is already included in the price of your plan.

• Restart your iPhone once the setup is complete.
• Upon arrival, please wait a few minutes while the eSIM connects to the local network.

💡 If the connection does not happen automatically after 5 to 10 minutes, restart the iPhone and then check steps 7 and 8.

• Make sure you've received the email from VoyageSIM with your eSIM details.
• Keep the QR code or activation link visible on another device or screen.

• In Settings → Mobile Data / Cellular , tap your main SIM.
• Turn off “Turn On This Line” .

⚠ This significantly reduces the risk of your home carrier charging roaming fees during your trip.

💡 When you return home, simply turn this line back on to use your regular plan again.

• In Settings → Mobile Data / Cellular , select the VoyageSIM eSIM.
• Ensure “Turn On This Line” is enabled.
• Choose VoyageSIM as your default line for mobile data .

ℹ️ Initial connection can take a few seconds. Once active, you should see the network icon in the status bar.

• Open the VoyageSIM line again in Settings → Mobile Data / Cellular .
• Enable “Data Roaming” .

⚠ Without data roaming turned on, your eSIM will not connect to the local network, even if installed correctly.

ℹ️ Unlike a traditional SIM from your carrier, data roaming on your VoyageSIM eSIM is already included in your plan.

• Restart your iPhone once configuration is complete.
• On arrival, wait a few minutes for the eSIM to attach to the local network.

💡 If there is no connection after 5–10 minutes, restart the iPhone and double-check steps 7 and 8.
