VoyageSIM lists a Vietnam eSIM with 1 GB for 7 days at CAD $4.75 and 3 GB for 15 days at CAD $11.50. Some variants use different networks. Confirm the exact network, pricing and conditions of your selected plan.
Noi Bai Airport and Hanoi's Old Quarter
Data can help you retrieve directions, tickets and reservations. Transport apps may be useful, but their accounts and payment requirements are separate from mobile connectivity.
Save your hotel address, airport transfer information and maps over Wi-Fi before leaving Canada. Allow time for your phone to connect after arrival.
Ha Long Bay, Ninh Binh and northern routes
Service in central Hanoi does not guarantee the same reception around Ninh Binh, the mountains or on boats in Ha Long Bay. The selected partner network matters.
Vietnamese mobile networks have different coverage footprints outside major cities. Check the network included in your plan and save essential tickets, maps and contact details offline.
Choosing 1 GB, 3 GB or more
One gigabyte can suit light searches, bookings and messaging. Streaming, video calls and hotspot use consume much more data.
Very low-priced options may include only a few hundred megabytes. Compare the total allowance, validity and CAD price instead of the smallest advertised number.
Setting up the Vietnam eSIM
Use a carrier-unlocked phone with eSIM support. QR instructions arrive by email; check when your plan's validity starts.
Choose VoyageSIM for mobile data and review roaming on your Canadian SIM. VoyageSIM is data-only without traditional cellular calling or SMS.
