Receive Bank SMS and 2FA Codes with a Travel eSIM

A travel eSIM usually provides mobile data. To receive bank texts sent to your Canadian number, keep your primary line active while using VoyageSIM for Internet access.

Why doesn’t the travel eSIM receive the bank code directly?

Most VoyageSIM plans are data-only and do not replace your Canadian phone number. A verification code from your bank therefore continues to arrive on the line associated with that number. A dual-SIM phone can use both lines at once: your primary SIM for texts and your eSIM for Internet access.
