Tenerife holiday eSIM: which mobile data plan should you use?
Tenerife is one of Spain's Canary Islands. A Spain travel eSIM may be convenient during a holiday, but the chosen plan must specifically support the Canary Islands and the partner network available at your destination.

VoyageSIM sells a Spain eSIM with 1 GB for 7 days at CAD $6.25 and 3 GB for 15 days at CAD $10 among the options checked. We have not verified these particular variants' partner networks in Tenerife; ask for confirmation if your trip is entirely in the Canaries.
Coverage in Santa Cruz, Costa Adeje and Puerto de la Cruz
Spanish cellular networks serve tourist areas, towns and major roads in Tenerife. Your travel eSIM's actual access depends on its contracted partner networks.
If your trip includes Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote, confirm the included islands and networks. Terrain, buildings and network traffic can change the signal quality.
Teide National Park and offline maps
High mountain routes, gullies and trails around Teide can have weak or absent service. Downloading hiking maps before setting out is useful even if your eSIM usually works well.
For a week of light messaging and occasional navigation, 1 GB may be sufficient. Consider larger allowances for video, social media and hotspot use.

VoyageSIM provides data-only service without conventional cellular voice or SMS. On dual-SIM phones you can generally keep your Canadian line, but review roaming settings carefully.
